Each September, the Blessed Trinity Catholic community gathers in faith and gratitude to honor Our Lady of La Salette, whose appearance in 1846 continues to inspire hearts around the world. Through prayer, reflection, and Eucharistic celebration, we remember her call to reconciliation, renewal, and deeper love for Christ and His Church. We welcome all parishioners, families, and visitors to join us in this sacred time of devotion and spiritual awakening.
On September 19, 1846, in the quiet mountains of La Salette, France, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to two young shepherd children, Maximin and Mélanie. She was seated on a rock, weeping, dressed in radiant garments with a crown of roses. Her message was both sorrowful and hopeful: she lamented the world’s neglect of faith, the profanation of the Lord’s name, and the failure to keep holy the Sabbath—but she also offered a path back to God through conversion, prayer, and penance.
For Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, the message of La Salette is not just a historical moment—it is a living call. Like Mary who weeps with compassion for her children, we are reminded of our mission to be a parish of healing, welcome, and reconciliation. As a community, we are invited to listen more deeply, love more fully, and turn our hearts toward God in all seasons of life.
May Our Lady of La Salette continue to intercede for us and guide our parish in faith, hope, and unity.
