The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi)

This weekend Blessed Trinity celebrates the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, honoring the profound gift of Christ's true presence in the Eucharist. Fr. Skip reminds us that the Eucharist is not merely a symbol but Christ Himself—His Body and Blood given for the life of the world. Through Holy Communion, God nourishes, heals, and gradually transforms us into His likeness. As Eucharistic disciples, we are called not only to receive Christ but to become His presence for others through service, unity, and mission.

Remember God's Faithfulness

Drawing from Deuteronomy, Moses invites Israel to remember God's providence throughout their desert journey. Likewise, Corpus Christi encourages us to recall how God has sustained us during our own moments of uncertainty and hardship. 

The Eucharist is True Participation in Christ

Referencing 1 Corinthians, Fr. Skip emphasizes that the Eucharist is not simply symbolic fellowship but authentic participation in the Body and Blood of Christ. Through Holy Communion, Christ offers Himself as nourishment for our spiritual journey. 

Become What We Receive

Quoting St. Augustine, the pastor explains that Christ transforms us through the Eucharist into His Body in the world. Having been fed by Christ, we are sent forth to become "bread broken and shared" through love, forgiveness, hospitality, and service. 

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS & MINISTRIES

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School takes place June 8–12 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. Children and volunteers will gather for a week of faith formation, fellowship, and fun activities designed to deepen their relationship with Christ. 

Young Adult Ministry

Young adults ages 18–45 are invited to:

• Trivia Night: June 8 at 7:00 p.m.
• Young Adult Mass & Dinner: June 14 following the 5:00 p.m. Mass.

These gatherings offer opportunities for fellowship, faith sharing, and community building. 

Knights of Columbus Baby Bottle Drive

The Knights of Columbus continue their annual Baby Bottle Drive supporting the JMJ Pregnancy Center. Parishioners are encouraged to return bottles with donations by June 13–14 to support life-affirming ministries serving mothers and families. 

Meal Train Ministry

Blessed Trinity seeks additional volunteers to help provide meals for parish clergy through the Meal Train Ministry. Those interested in serving are invited to register and participate in this practical expression of parish support and gratitude. 

Parents & Mothers Fiesta

Parishioners are invited to a 1960s-themed Parents & Mothers Fiesta on:

• Saturday, June 13
• 7:00–11:00 p.m.
• Parish Center

The evening includes fellowship, music, fun activities, and a potluck meal shared by the parish community. 

Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Diocese of Orlando invites all faithful to participate in the Diocesan Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus:

• Friday, June 12
• 7:00 p.m. Bilingual Mass
• St. James Cathedral

Bishop John Noonan will lead this important diocesan celebration followed by Eucharistic Adoration. 

Adopt a Precinct Program

Blessed Trinity is seeking three bilingual Spanish-English volunteers to assist parish teams staffing county voting precincts during the August and November elections. This ministry has become a successful community outreach initiative benefiting the parish. 

2026 Rummage Sale

The annual Rummage Sale will take place:

• July 16: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• July 17: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• July 18: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Donation acceptance begins June 22 with detailed schedules published in the bulletin.
