Forgiven to Forgive: Mercy Without Measure

Blessed Trinity Catholic Church gathers this 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time to reflect on the boundless mercy of God revealed in Matthew 18:21-22. Our parish community, served by the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, is invited to embody that same mercy in our daily lives. This week is especially rich as we celebrate the La Salette Novena Masses and the 180th Anniversary of Our Lady of La Salette's apparition.

Parish Events This Week

The week opens on Sunday, September 13 with Faith Formation Classes, the La Salette Novena in English and Spanish, Divine Mercy Chaplet, La Salette Play Rehearsal, and the kickoff of Life Teen for 9th–12th graders. Monday brings the La Salette Novena and a Guadalupe Ministry meeting. Tuesday features the La Salette Novena and the kickoff of That Man Is You (TMIY) at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday marks the EDGE kickoff for middle schoolers (6th–8th grade) at 6:00 p.m., along with Music Ministry rehearsal and the La Salette Novena. Thursday welcomes the Sunshine Seniors back for their first meeting (12:00–2:00 p.m.) and hosts the CCW 'Rock Your Hats' kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Friday features the La Salette Novena with Adoration Hour and the Paz y Gozo Charismatic Prayer Group. Saturday, September 19 marks the La Salette 180th Anniversary of Apparition, BT Healing Prayer Ministry meeting, Jazz Band Rehearsal, and the Our Lady of La Salette Play at 6:00 p.m. The following Sunday, September 20, the La Salette Play continues after each Mass, Faith Formation and Life Teen resume, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet is offered.

Sacrificial Giving

The weekend of September 6, 2026 saw a combined parish offertory of $26,474.18 from regular collections, with an additional $4,789.89 through The Master's Plan. The Our Catholic Appeal 2026 continues to progress toward its goal, with participation standing at 14.7% of donor families and households. The parish is grateful for every gift offered in a spirit of stewardship.
