Giving Thanks to God — In All Things
As Thanksgiving approaches, Fr. Skip invites the parish to rediscover gratitude as a way of life, not merely a response to blessings. Quoting St. Paul—“In all circumstances give thanks”—he reminds us that gratitude springs from faith, trusting God’s providence even when life is uncertain. The saints, like St. Thérèse and St. Francis, found thanksgiving in both joy and trial, revealing that all things can draw us closer to God. The Eucharist itself means “thanksgiving,” uniting our joys and sorrows in Christ. Parishioners are warmly invited to Thanksgiving Eve Mass on Nov 26 at 6:30 p.m. (followed by pie-sharing) or Thanksgiving Morning Mass on Nov 27 at 8:30 a.m.
