Blessed Trinity Catholic Church gathers this week as a vibrant, multicultural community centered in Jesus Christ and nurtured by the Eucharist. Served by the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, we are called this Sunday to let the Canaanite woman's fearless faith inspire our own. As we begin a new season of Faith Formation, ministry engagement, and La Salette anniversary celebration, we press forward together — belonging, believing, and becoming.
The week opens Sunday, August 16 with Faith Formation Registration after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Masses in the Parish Center, along with the Spanish Divine Mercy Chaplet in the Church from 1:00–2:00 p.m. Monday evening, the Guadalupe Ministry meets in the Parish Center Meeting Room from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Tuesday, the Spanish Music Ministry rehearses in the Church from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Wednesday brings both a Music Ministry Rehearsal in the Music Room (5:00–9:00 p.m.) and a Faith Formation Catechist Night in the Parish Center (6:00–8:00 p.m.). Thursday evening features the La Salette Summer Series on the topic of Saints in Transfiguration Hall from 7:00–8:30 p.m. Friday offers Adoration Hour in the Church from 9:00–10:00 a.m., the CCW Appreciation Dinner from 4:00–10:00 p.m., and the Spanish Charismatic Prayer Group 'Paz y Gozo' in Transfiguration Hall from 6:45–9:30 p.m. The weekend of August 22–23 is Ministry Fair Weekend — Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Center and after every Mass Sunday, with OCIA Orientation Sunday from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and the Spanish Divine Mercy Chaplet again Sunday afternoon.
