La vida cristiana, entonces, es un vínculo frágil pero santificador—un santo "yugo" que une nuestras vidas a Cristo y, por medio de Él, unos a otros. Estamos invitados a llevar las cargas unos de otros, perdonarnos unos a otros, corregirnos con caridad, orar unos por otros y nunca olvidar que la persona que puede resultarnos más difícil de amar sigue siendo nuestro hermano o hermana en Cristo.

The Christian life, then, is a fragile yet sanctifying bond—a holy "yoking" of our lives to Christ and, through Him, to one another. We are invited to carry one another, forgive one another, correct one another with charity, pray for one another, and never forget that the person who may be most difficult for us to love is still our brother or sister in Christ.

On the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, Jesus offers His disciples a clear path of fraternal reconciliation: go privately to the one who has wronged you, listen, seek understanding, and if needed, bring the community of faith into the healing. St. Paul anchors this teaching in love: 'Love is the fulfillment of the law' (Rom 13:10). As Blessed Trinity approaches the 180th anniversary of the La Salette apparition — Our Lady, Reconciler of Sinners — parishioners are invited to embrace that same mission: turn back to God, and help others find their way to Him.
