Cristo toma aquello que parece tan poco, lo bendice, lo multiplica y lo pone al servicio de su Reino. El milagro continúa sucediendo hoy cada vez que los discípulos se niegan a despedir a las personas con las manos vacías y, en cambio, se convierten en instrumentos del amor compasivo y generoso de Dios.

Christ takes what seems so little, blesses it, multiplies it, and places it in the service of His Kingdom. The miracle still happens today whenever disciples refuse to send people away empty and instead become instruments of God's compassionate love and generosity.

This 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel of Matthew (14:13-21) invites us into the miracle of the loaves and fishes — not merely as a feeding of thousands, but as a revelation of the Eucharist itself. Jesus takes, blesses, breaks, and shares: the very pattern of every Mass. Isaiah echoes the same boundless generosity: 'Come to the water… without cost.' St. Paul assures us nothing can separate us from God's love. We are called, blessed, and sent to become the Body of Christ for others.
